Is it really selfish to be upset that my boyfriend buys me presents, but really all i want is him?

he buys me expensive things, but only because he is about to tell me that he cant see me that week, or hes not going to be with me on our anniversary, or that we have to cancel our holiday a couple of weeks before hand.

i have gucci jewley, jack wills, remy hair extensions, acrylic nails regulary, morgan shoes, more hangbags than you can shake a stick at.

i tell him i love the present and that i REALLY appriciate it, but all i want is just a couple of days of just me and him.

we have had one day together with no work or racing since xmas.

is this selfish that i dont want the gifts, all i want is him? x
i know i am spoilt, but i come from a really poor family, so i do appriciate it all... i know others think they would love to be in my situation, but you wouldnt.
i am a teenager, and i do LOVE the handbags and shoes... but i would prefer to have a day with him.

i am not selling myself! weve been together for a long time and he knows what i like, he gets very upset and offended if i dont like what he gets me... he gets nothing in return but appriciation and love. not sex.

No of course not. Thats good that you really love him, I myself would prefer all the handbags but im a really materillistic perosn and a teenager. Your NOT being selfish you should talk to him hell love you even more becuase youre saying hes worth more to you than all the things he can very buy. Thats TRUE love
